ICBU Accuses the UAE Forces of Violating the Women and Children Rights in Yemen

 

The International Campaign to Boycott the UAE (ICBU) has accused UAE militias operating in Yemen, especially in Aden, of violating the sanctity of homes and attacking children and women. A video was posted last week via social networking sites showing members of the UAE forces in Aden while they attacked women and children and used firearms against them in Aden.

ICBU said this was not the first time that UAE forces in Yemen had carried out such immoral acts. About two months ago, Yemeni women were attacked at home, shots were fired and a young girl was injured during the attack. More than one case Rape and assault on women in Yemen by the militias of the UAE.

The international campaign called for the formation of an international investigation committee to document all these violations in Yemen, and also calls on the international community to intervene immediately to stop human rights violations in the UAE and to force the authorities in the UAE to respect human rights laws and called on all countries that respect human rights laws and the free world to boycott the UAE because they violate human rights daily, whether in the war in Yemen or with neighbouring countries or citizens or residents.

ICBU said it was launched in the light of the endless violations of human rights practiced by the UAE, as well as its war crimes in Yemen and violations of workers’ rights, as well as the fact that the UAE is the centre of modern slavery. The United Arab Emirates today is one of the leading countries in human-trafficking and is one of the main supporters of terrorist groups in Syria and other parts of the Middle East.
