ICBU Accuses the UAE of Recruiting Children and Position them in the Front lines in Clashes in Yemen

The International Campaign to Boycott UAE (ICBU) has accused the UAE regime of inflicting Yemeni children in the first lines of fighting against the Huthis and exploiting the poverty of Yemenis. Some UAE military commanders have been monitoring some of the UAE’s children’s schools and recruiting Yemeni children from them. Two activists had earlier published pictures of Yemeni children belonging to UAE militias killed.

The number of victims of an attack on the camp of the Western Gala of the UAE in the city of Brega, Aden, is 36 people ,who were killed by a ballistic missile. The international campaign held all parties, especially the UAE in Yemen, the full responsibility for the killing of Yemeni civilians in the conflict there.

UAE is still violating the human rights especially in Yemen, ICBU calls on the international community to intervene immediately to stop human rights violations in Yemen by UAE and to force the authorities in the UAE to respect human rights laws. ICBU also called on all countries that respect human rights laws and the free world to boycott the UAE because they violate human rights on a daily basis, whether in the war in Yemen or with neighbouring countries, citizens or residents.

ICBU said it was launched in the light of the endless violations of human rights practiced by the UAE, in addition to its war crimes in Yemen and violations of workers’ rights, as well as the fact that the UAE is the centre of modern slavery. The United Arab Emirates today is one of the leading countries in trafficking in human beings and is one of the main supporters of terrorist groups in Syria and other parts of the Middle East.
