ICBU : UAE Betrays its Allies and Bombs two Yemeni Army Locations to Achieve its Ambitions in Yemen

The International Campign to Boycott UAE (ICBU) said that UAE has bombed two Yemeni army locations in the legitimate government in the Kod region between Aden and Abyan. The international campaign said the bombing came as a betrayal of the United Arab Emirates to its allies in order to achieve its ambitions to take control of Aden airport after the Yemeni army regained control of the airport, which was under the control of the UAE forces and militias.

Yemeni media sources reported that several military and civilian casualties were reported in the two military sites. The wounded were taken to Al-Razi government hospital in Abyan. In the same context, the UAE| militias began to turn against the legitimate Yemeni government on August 10 after fierce battles lasted for four days against the Presidential Guard forces and military brigades of the legitimate government of the internationally recognized legitimate.

The boycott campaign accused the UAE regime of violating human rights in Yemen, recruiting African children and mercenaries and joining them in its militias operating in Yemen, and entering the war on Yemen to steal Yemen’s wealth and control Yemen’s airports and ports. The United Arab Emirates continues to violate human rights, especially women’s rights and equality before the law.

The boycott campaign calls on the international community to intervene immediately to stop human rights violations in the UAE and to oblige the UAE authorities to respect human rights laws. The campaign also called on all countries that respect human rights laws and the free world to boycott the UAE because they violate human rights on a daily basis, whether in the war in Yemen or with neighboring countries or their citizens or residents. The boycott campaign said it was launched in light of the endless human rights abuses practiced by the UAE, as well as the war crimes it committed in Yemen and abuses of workers’ rights, as well as the UAE being the center of modern slavery. The UAE is today one of the leading countries in human trafficking and is a major supporter of terrorist groups in Syria and other parts of the Middle East.
