ICBU: UAE Sends Secret Military Reinforcements to its Militias in Aden

The International Campaign to Boycott UAE (ICBU) said that According to eyewitnesses, the UAE has sent military reinforcements, such as weapons and weapons to its militias in Aden, and a new military brigade has been established in Yemen. The campaign stressed that the UAE forces and their militias violated human rights and committed heinous crimes against civilians and the practice of harassment and campaigning against citizens of the northern provinces in Yemen.

The campaign said that the UAE’s entry into the war in Yemen was motivated by ambitions such as control of ports such as the island of Sumatra, airports and strategic areas such as the islands and Yemeni wealth such as fish wealth. The UAE had entered the war as part of the ground forces in June 2015 with the aim of wresting power from the Huthis .

ICBU calls on the international community to intervene immediately to stop human rights violations in the UAE and to force the authorities in the UAE to respect human rights laws. ICBU also called on all countries that respect human rights laws and the free world to boycott the UAE because they violate human rights on a daily basis, whether in the war in Yemen or with neighbouring countries, citizens or residents.

ICBU said it was launched in the light of the endless violations of human rights practiced by the UAE, in addition to its war crimes in Yemen and violations of workers’ rights, as well as the fact that the UAE is the centre of modern slavery. The United Arab Emirates today is one of the leading countries in trafficking in human beings and is one of the main supporters of terrorist groups in Syria and other parts of the Middle East.
