International Campaign to Boycott UAE (ICBU)  call upon International Companies to take immediate action to stop the appalling suffering and destruction in Yemen, primarily caused by the violence of the Arab coalition, UAE has been bombing Yemen extensively lately with no media coverage to highlight its war crimes.
ICBU warm International companies sponsoring or supporting Dubai Expo by any means that they will be added to the blacklist and considered as Pro human rights Abuses. The blacklist will be published later on this week.
Over 15,000 civilians have been killed and the conflict has ruined the economy and pushed millions to the brink of famine in Yemen. The UAE is a key player in the military coalition against the Houthis which has been shown to indiscriminately target Yemeni civilians, and is suspected to be a serious violation of international humanitarian law.
United Arab Emirates have been responsible for war crimes including rape, torture, disappearances and “deprivation of the right to life” during the war in Yemen.
The Data Project has found almost one-third of the  16,000 air raids carried out in the country have hit non-military sites, with at least 1,491 air raids targeting residential areas.
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), more than 1.8 million under the age of five children suffer from acute malnutrition, including 500,000 children who suffer from severe acute malnutrition
Currently, UAE’s bombing in Yemen has been boosted by a siege resulted in a biblical famine killing more and more innocent.
ICBU’s new anti-Yemen war petition is gaining more momentum and will be reaching out to International Companies to take prompt action to spare the lives of thousands civilians in Yemen.
The Campaign considers boycott as an essential tool to stop the War on Yemen, ban the arms trade and protect human rights. ICBU will be working hard to make sure that UAE is disqualified and that that Dubai will not host the Expo 2020 which is used to improve the “Image” of an autocratic medieval regime.
UAE is an enemy for human rights, for tolerance and development of human beings. The country’s reputation is appalling and not fit to host such a landmark event, such regimes should be boycott and isolated. Thus, Dubai Expo 2020 should be moved to another country.
